We are looking for a Senior Business Development professional to lead solution sales efforts within the automotive and manufacturing sectors. This role involves consultative selling, building key accounts, managing client relationships, and driving technology adoption. Proven sales success and strong automotive supply chain knowledge are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive the sales of technology-based solutions and returnable packaging to new and existing customers
- Secure new business and meet/exceed annual sales targets
- Lead generation through networking, industry events, and customer outreach
- Identify and close opportunities with automotive OEMs and their supplier base
- Engage in consultative, value-driven selling approaches
- Develop compelling proposals, RFIs, and quotes
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build a deep understanding of customer requirements
- Present tailored solutions and proposals to prospective clients
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with customers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through continuous engagement and support
- Work cross-functionally with product development and key account teams to implement solutions
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to align offerings with customer and market needs
- Provide feedback to product development for continuous innovation
- Contribute to marketing content, proposals, and strategic sales collateral
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate pipeline and sales tracking
- Report monthly on sales performance and variance analysis
- Manage and follow up on all leads and opportunities in a timely manner
- Assist in resolving customer complaints in coordination with relevant departments
- Identify new product or service opportunities based on market insight
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (business, engineering, logistics, or similar)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or key account management in a technology-based business
- At least 3 years of experience in the automotive supply chain sector
- Demonstrated track record in closing complex deals and meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of technologies such as:

- GPS tracking and WMS interfaces
