Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead and deliver engineering projects in control systems, electrical engineering, and instrumentation. The role requires technical expertise, strong leadership, and project management proficiency to ensure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality project delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Project Planning
  • Develop detailed project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.

 

  1. Team Leadership
  • Lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams for effective execution.

 

  1. Technical Oversight
  • Provide technical guidance in control systems, electrical engineering, and instrumentation.

 

  1. Risk Management
  • Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.

 

  1. Quality Assurance
  • Ensure project deliverables comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

 

  1. Stakeholder Management
  • Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions with clients, management, and team members.

 

  1. Budget Management
  • Monitor project costs to stay within budget and meet financial targets.

 

  1. Documentation
  • Maintain up-to-date project records, including technical documents, progress reports, and change logs.

 

Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or Instrumentation.
  • Project Management certification (advantageous).

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in project management within control systems, electrical, or instrumentation sectors.
  • Experience with FIDIC, NEC/ECC, or GCC contract management.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in control systems, PLC/SCADA software, and electrical/instrumentation technologies.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific standards and safety protocols, particularly in mining environments.

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, planning, and team leadership skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
