Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our client in the motor parts and industrial consumables industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing and developing client accounts, negotiating contracts, and representing the company at industry events. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans and pipeline strategies to grow the product portfolio.
- Manage and service established client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Negotiate sales contracts and terms with clients.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and call plans for management.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Marketing, Product Management) to resolve client issues.
- Train and mentor new sales team members.
- Maintain and continuously improve the CRM database and client records.
- Monitor receivables and ensure timely payments for COD accounts.
- Conduct presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Sales Representative in motor parts or industrial consumables.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ people management experience.
- Grade 12 or equivalent; additional training in Sales Techniques or Marketing Management advantageous.
- Strong product knowledge and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and computer literacy (MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
