Are you a technically strong engineer with a passion for business development and solving real-world operational challenges? We are looking for a Sales & Technical Engineer to drive growth in our power plant services portfolio across the Northern Cape and Namibia.
This is a field-based, consultative role where you will be the face of our operations in the region. You will take ownership of the full sales lifecycle – from identifying new opportunities and conducting site audits, to preparing technical proposals and supporting the delivery of engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively generate new business within power generation, renewables, manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.
- Conduct site surveys and technical audits of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Prepare detailed technical estimates and commercial proposals.
- Lead technical tender submissions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Site Managers, Engineers and Directors.
- Grow existing accounts through maintenance contracts and SLAs.
Requirements:
- BTech or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3–5 years’ experience in a technical engineering role, ideally within power generation.
- Proven experience in lead generation, client engagement and technical sales.
- Strong understanding of operational and maintenance environments.
- Excellent commercial and consultative selling skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to remote sites.
