Job Description

To succeed in this role, candidate must contribute to the planning, design, and cost estimation of complex electrical systems in high-tech facilities within the Semiconductor, BioPharma, and Life Sciences industries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical system designs across all project phases: Concept Design, Basic Design, and Detail Design.
  • Create and manage technical documentation, including specifications, functional descriptions, drawings, and bills of quantities.
  • Estimate costs and ensure adherence to budgets, quality standards, and project schedules.
  • Support project management with schedule planning and adjustments.
  • Prepare work packages for subcontractors, monitor execution, and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external interfaces to maintain efficient information flow.
  • Attend meetings, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and on-site acceptance tests.
  • Oversee on-site installation and commissioning of electrical systems.

 

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the planning, construction, maintenance, or commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Experience in high-tech environments such as Semiconductor or BioPharma industries preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office and relevant design tools (e.g., DIALux, Relux).

 

Knowledge of:

  • Lighting calculations (normal and emergency).
  • Cable routing systems (ladders, trays).
  • Busbar and junction box design.
  • Lightning and surge protection systems.
  • ATEX explosion protection integration.
  • Familiarity with applicable technical codes and regulations.
  • Must be fluent in German and English.
  • Strong teamwork, initiative, and flexibility (including willingness to travel).
