Job Description

We are seeking a Material Imports Coordinator responsible for ensuring timely and efficient supply of imported materials by analysing forecasts, coordinating with suppliers and freight agents, and managing inventory levels to support production. Requires strong supply chain knowledge, ERP experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management (essential)

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in import material planning within the automotive industry
  • Minimum 1 year purchasing experience
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS Excel

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting and import material requirements planning
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean principles
  • Familiarity with logistics, transport, and supply chain optimisation
  • Understanding of customs and excise regulations
  • Knowledge of automotive quality systems
  • Understanding of cycle counting practices
