Job Description
In being a successful candidate in this role, you will manage technical support and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance, equipment reliability, and high customer service standards in line with Redheads’ industrial objectives. This position requires technical expertise, planning skills, and the ability to lead on-site and remote monitoring teams.
Key performance areas:
- Technical Support: Resolve technical issues within SLA, deliver RCA reports, minimise repeat issues, and provide proactive updates.
- Maintenance Planning & Support: Ensure preventative maintenance completion, plan adherence, and reduced downtime.
- Compliance: (Maintain regulatory, safety, and ISO-aligned standards with regular audits and zero HSE incidents.
- Customer Service: Resolve queries within SLA, strengthen customer satisfaction, and reduce complaints related to maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: 3-phase Installation Electrician
- Advantageous: Electrical Engineering Diploma
Experience:
- Minimum: 3–5 years’ experience in fault finding, system integration, and solar installations
- Advantageous: Broader O&M technical support experience
Technical competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office, SAP/ERP systems, and job-specific software
- Knowledge of production, engineering, sales, and marketing practices
