Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Department Manager to lead and maintain quality systems within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will ensure all processes and personnel operate in line with defined job descriptions, ISO, OEM, and customer quality requirements. This is an opportunity to drive continuous improvement and uphold excellence across all quality operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and evaluate the performance of quality department subordinates.
 - Maintain and improve quality systems in line with ISO, OEM, and customer standards.
 - Ensure all customer requirements and expectations are consistently met.
 - Analyse performance data to drive continuous improvement, implementing corrective actions as required.
 - Establish and manage the Quality Department budget.
 - Handle customer requests and complaints efficiently and professionally.
 - Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators.
 - Train, mentor, and develop subordinates to enhance team capabilities.
 - Continuously enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with customer expectations.
 - Conduct and oversee internal audits, process/product audits, and implement corrective actions.
 - Support process departments with root cause analysis, 8D closure, and evaluation of corrective action effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements:
- B-Tech degree in Quality Management or equivalent.
 - Knowledge of Total Quality Management, ISO Standards (Standard Internal Auditor), IATF, and customer standards.
 - Exposure to Lean Manufacturing Principles, preferably in the automotive sector.
 - Competency in Six Sigma tools, Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving, and Core Tools implementation.
 - Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Quality Department Manager in a complex automotive manufacturing environment.
 - Minimum 5 years’ experience on press tools or assembly processes.
 - Minimum 10 years’ experience in the automotive industry, ideally with experience in car-building (preference for German-based factories).
 - Working knowledge of key quality aspects such as geometry, surface quality, and structural integrity.
