Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Job Planning & Manpower

• Review incoming part quantity and plan manpower, arranging the people required for the job
• Load new jobs at the inspection table and coordinate first-time time studies

Team Readiness

• Make sure the Inspector pool is trained and appropriately certified for the job

Output & Data Monitoring

• Plan and monitor output and performance across Quarantine or Body Shop/Assy/Log, as deployed; monitor and correct (data recording); and ensure output and recorded data match

Quality & Audit

• Perform audits against instructions; make improvements/adjustments in inspection & rework; and review inspection facilities, escalating to management where required

People & Reporting

• Address concerns; report on absence/presence and check (clocking)
• Be the competent contact point on your shift for our client

Job Specification

Qualifications

• Minimum Matric (Grade 12); a relevant quality/production-related qualification is an advantage

Experience

• Prior inspection, rework, or shift-supervisory experience is expected in practice

Knowledge

• Certified at minimum "Competent" level in Inspection, Rework, and SAP
• Scanning & Data — the core certification set required for this role
• The Skills Matrix and Daily Allocation tool, used each morning to assign certified people to stations
• How output and recorded data are expected to reconcile, and the daily- audit-against-instructions standard this role is measured against
• 8Ds proficient – particularly first 3Ds in your shift
