Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Counting & Packing

• Count accurately and report on quantities, properly labelling packages, and communicating with the client/QSB in a friendly and effective way, following their instructions
• Repack parts in new boxes obtained from the line (changing labels and tags to suit), and pack parts in return packaging with the correct labels, addresses and instructions attached
• Liaise with courier for collection and delivery to supplier

SAP & DS&R Creation

• Use SAP to create DS&R entries.

Client Liaison & Export

• Create export paperwork back to the client's suppliers, organise security for return viewing, and organise exporters/forwarders to collect parts.

Process Compliance & Housekeeping

• Ensure the Red Rack process is followed in accordance with the PFD (Process Flow Diagram).
• Ensure the QSB room and Red Rack areas are maintained in a constant state of 5S compliance.
• Maintain immaculate record-keeping, with all documentation completed accurately and within required timelines 

Job Specification

Qualifications

• Minimum Matric (Grade 12); a relevant quality/production-related qualification is an advantage

Experience

• Prior inspection, rework, or shift-supervisory experience is expected in practice

Knowledge

• Certified at minimum "Competent" level in Inspection, Rework, and SAP Scanning & Data — the core certification set required for this role
• SAP experience, specifically creating and managing DS&R entries in SAP
• Understanding of the DS&R process
