Job Description
Inspection & Rework
- Log on to tablet, navigate tablet/work instructions/recording
- Inspect parts according to a work instruction
- Rework any minor defects identified on parts
- Take good pictures of rejects with tablet, and record inspection data on tablet
Handling & Packing
- Treat parts with care and respect, counting, repacking in the same condition as received; strap the box; fill in inspection stickers and attach to box & rejects; and segregate rejects in red areas
Attendance & Flexibility
- Record time attendance and output, and be available to be utilised/trained across stations as workload requires
- Always stay available at your workstation until proper shift changeover has been concluded, and you have been officially relieved
- Never leave your workstation without notifying your team leader
Productivity & Quality Standards
- Achieve, at minimum, the officially recorded time study rate (parts per hour) for the assigned station
- Maintain consistently high-quality work to ensure zero slips
- Remain at the assigned station without drifting while online/active on the line
Other
- Fulfil any related activity reasonably instructed by the Team Leader
- This position is shift-bound (3 shifts per day)
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- Must reside within 20 km of the Rosslyn area
