Audit Planning & Execution

  • Coordinate and conduct internal audits to a risk-based schedule targeted at pertinent/hot topics, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and on-time closure of findings; audit/check: All relevant technologies, shift changeovers, and slip/line-stopper prevention (zero target).
  • Verify inspection outcomes against client specification, not only against work instructions

Shop-Floor Compliance (5S, FIFO & Safety)

  • Audit daily: 5S adherence (plant-wide), FIFO adherence (100%) and safe working practices (zero unsafe acts)

Training & Workforce Discipline

  • Train, mentor and re-train inspectors to the training schedule/project inception; check: only trained inspectors on shift, inspector trained before work starts, and training records documented and retrievable.
  • Manage workplace discipline, escalating to HR for hearings when required

Parts, Stock & DS&R Management

  • Own disposition and timely processing of rejected/aging parts (total charge of QSB rooms); audit/check: 24-hour list adherence (OK/NOK parts, reported daily), stock withdrawals against PFD timelines (withdrawals, HU/parts-waiting labelling, DS&R clearance), and Red Rack/DS&R throughput (10ppm
    slips/complaints, tracker adherence)

Data, SAP & Systems Integrity

  • Audit/check: tablet data capture (100% accuracy, no manual paper unless exception) and SAP transactions – own and sub-supplier – executed promptly and per instruction

Problem-Solving, Root Cause & Escalation

  • Lead investigations, root-cause analysis (8D for customer findings and internal findings/Quality Incidents – D1-3 immediate, D4-8 within the next 24 hours) and corrective/preventive action for quality issues, complaints, non-conformances and near misses; proactively flag risk via Q-alerts and follow escalation PFDs

Reporting, Communication & KPI Ownership

  • Track and report quality KPIs/stats, presenting weekly to the Quality Services Manager; owns (Quality Lead Dashboard): Client KPI performance, customer complaints, slips, line stoppers, corrective actions,
    audit results and training
  • Be available and responsive during working hours (phone), with clear, concise communication

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in the automotive industry in production, operations, project or quality
